William Grau has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and communications on behalf of some of the world’s most-respected financial services companies. Most recently, he served as managing director and chief marketing officer for Allianz Global Investors in the Americas. Prior to that, he served as head of marketing for the asset management division of Rothschild & Company in New York, as well as for various divisions of Deutsche Bank Asset Management. His responsibilities included managing multi-million-dollar brand and advertising campaigns, overseeing communications to clients and prospects, and creating and implementing business-development efforts. Early in his career, Bill served as a director and global marketing executive for Chase Manhattan, building the profile of the firm’s private banking and asset management capabilities. He also held a number of marketing and communications positions for Prudential Financial where he honed his significant editorial and executive communications skills. Bill holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Rutgers University and is a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Communications and English.
